7 FATAL FLAWS TO WATCH OUT FOR IN A PARTNER

(1)   ADDICTIONS
When you love someone with an addiction, you are in a love triangle -- you, your partner, and whatever he is addicted to.
When you love someone with an addiction, you are loving someone who is not a free person.

(2)   ANGER
Repressed grief from childhood gets acted out as rage in adults. Don't ignore the warning signs that indicate your partner has an anger problem such as when he takes it out on people around him when things don't go his way or he has very little patience and becomes easily annoyed.
Trust your gut instinct and don't let yourself be intimidated or talked out of your feelings. You don't have to put up with his behavior.

(3)   VICTIM CONSCIOUSNESS
This is an attitude some men and women adopt toward the events in their life, an attitude that blames others for their problems. Victims spend their time complaining about what's wrong rather than doing something to change it.
When you love a victim, you may feel that no matter how much you give, it is never enough and no matter how much you try to console them, they refuse to be cheered up.

(4)   CONTROL FREAK
A control freak is someone who is addicted to being in control, i.e., he must make all the decisions himself; he almost never asks for help, since he tells himself he can handle it; he tells you what to do.
The situation will only get worse if your partner does not acknowledge the problem and take action to improve it. If he can't, you should reconsider the relationship.

(5)   HAVEN'T GROWN UP
The men and women with this fatal flaw have an adult side that refuses to behave in a responsible, mature manner, forcing you, as the partner, to take on the role of a parent.
No matter how helpful you tell yourself to be, acting as a parent to your partner will create an unhealthy  relationship and you'll only end up angry, taken advantage of, manipulated and disrespectful toward your partner.

(6)   EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE
Some people are not ready to have a relationship because they are too emotionally blocked. He cannot show emotions. He will not or cannot talk about feelings. He cannot open up or trust. Stay away from partners who are emotionally shut down!

(7)   HAS NOT RECOVERED FROM PAST RELATIONSHIPS
The more anger toward the past you carry in your heart, the less capable you are of loving in the present. If you meet someone who has not recovered from a past relationship, you're in for heartache and disappointment.
